The Greek Alumni of American Universities invites you to the projection of the documentary titled: «Greek Music and Dance from antiquity to the present»
Which is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
on the 8th floor of the Hellenic-American Union,
at 22 Massalias street, Kolonaki, Athens.
Ther duration of the documentary is 80 minutes.
It has been created by the Oscar Winner Greek-American film Director John Mavros,
who has been living in New York City for the past 40 years.
The documentary describes the stages of the Greek music and Greek dances with an emphasis on the tradition from Asia Minor.
The event will be presented by the singer and researcher
on the Greek traditional music, Mr Lakis Halkias.
Admission is free.
